What can you say about the Nubian doe. From the sweet luscious milk to the lovely elegant style they are just addictive creatures. We aim for large well sprung does with plenty of bone and lovely well attached productive mammaries. They must be easy going and like to do their work. Since I hand milk I look for large orifaces, nice texture and easy to milk teats. I also am working towards having a polled purebred herd to eliminate the unpleasant task of disbudding.
I dont use posed pictures on my site so you can see what the does look like as they are hanging out in the pasture. SKWF was my old herd name so anything with SKWF or Wonderful Farm are homebred does.
Whole herd is tested negative for CAE annually and I have no abscesses.
